We embrace technology and AI as tools that empower creators to work smarter and achieve more, while staying true to our core values of quality, creativity, and trust. Gigred’s real strength lies in the collaboration between human talent and intelligent tools.

Our Community Standards are designed to maintain a respectful, inclusive, and secure marketplace for all. These standards reflect Gigred’s ongoing commitment to fostering a professional, ethical, and trusted global freelancing environment that goes beyond compliance—it’s a shared promise to uphold integrity and excellence in everything we do.

As Gigred continues to expand, the way people collaborate online grows more complex. The evolving digital landscape brings fresh opportunities along with emerging challenges. Concerns such as misinformation, misuse of AI-generated content, impersonation, and unethical communication practices call for awareness and collective responsibility. Gigred’s Community Standards are built to evolve with these changes—supporting innovation while safeguarding integrity and professionalism.

Our standards go beyond user protection; they empower creativity, foster trust, and ensure Gigred remains a dynamic, ethical, and inspiring platform for global collaboration. These principles are not just policies—they represent our shared values in action. As our community grows, so will these standards, ensuring Gigred stays a trusted space to create, connect, and succeed together. If you notice behavior that doesn’t align with these values, we encourage you to report it—because maintaining a positive and respectful culture is a shared effort.

Integrity and Authenticity

To ensure a secure, respectful, fair, and trustworthy marketplace, Gigred takes proactive measures to prevent any form of abuse or manipulation that may harm the integrity of our platform or the authenticity of our users.

Any deliberate attempt to misuse Gigred’s tools, systems, or features will lead to the permanent suspension of accounts involved in such actions.

Account Integrity

Multiple Accounts

To buy or sell services on Gigred, each user is allowed to maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts can mislead users and manipulate the system, which is strictly prohibited. Violation of this policy may result in permanent suspension of all related accounts.

It is not permitted to create multiple accounts on Gigred:

  • Gain a competitive edge unfairly
  • Mislead or harass other users
  • Engage in fraudulent or deceptive activities
  • Exploit Gigred’s referral or reward programs
  • Evade account restrictions or bans
  • Violate Gigred’s Terms of Service or Community Standards

Never share your authentic credentials (email, payment details, phone number) with others, as they can be misused to create multiple accounts.

Fake Identity

Gigred prohibits accounts that impersonate another person or organization misleadingly or deceptively.

It is not allowed to:

  • Use false personal details, photos, or fabricated information
  • Present forged identity documents during verification
  • Use AI-generated visuals or videos to impersonate others
  • Create or use an account with misleading intent
  • Use automated tools to disguise your real location
  • Create an account for someone else using your own credentials

Gigred reserves the right to permanently suspend any account that represents a fake identity.

Misrepresentation

Misrepresentation refers to false, misleading, or incomplete statements of important information.

It is prohibited to:

  • Post inaccurate or deceptive content in your profile or gig details
  • Misuse of Gigred badges, levels, or recognition symbols
  • Copy another user’s gig description, pricing, or content
  • Use “bait-and-switch” tactics by changing prices after messaging or order initiation
  • Have someone else represent you without disclosure
  • Use copyrighted material or impersonate Gigred staff
  • Include the word “Gigred” in usernames to mislead others
Inauthentic Behavior

Spam

Spam includes unwanted or repetitive messaging that disrupts other users’ experiences. On Gigred, spam is not tolerated in any form.

Do not:

  • Send unsolicited or promotional messages unrelated to active gigs or requests
  • Share harmful content such as phishing links or malware
  • Use automation or bots to send bulk messages
  • Contact users with irrelevant or off-topic offers
  • Request donations, free work, or marketing assistance through messages

Such actions violate privacy and harm the community. Please report spam if you encounter it.

Feedback Manipulation

Reviews play a vital role in Gigred’s rating system, helping clients evaluate freelancers’ quality and professionalism. Authentic feedback builds trust and credibility.

Do not:

  • Manipulate ratings or reviews in any form
  • Post or request fake feedback
  • Buy or sell reviews to boost ratings
  • Pressure clients to modify or remove feedback
  • Threaten negative reviews to gain free services or changes
  • Delay deliveries to influence reviews

Any form of review manipulation will lead to permanent account suspension. Report suspicious feedback behavior to Gigred’s support team.

Reporting Abuse

Gigred encourages users to report any behavior that violates our standards. However, misuse of reporting tools is not acceptable.

Do not:

  • Submit false or malicious reports
  • Spam reports repeatedly for the same issue
  • Provide misleading evidence or fake claims
  • Report others to harm their reputation or business
  • Use automated or multiple accounts for false reports

Gigred reserves the right to flag and take action against users who misuse the reporting system.

Manipulation

Any conduct intended to manipulate Gigred’s systems or ranking mechanisms goes against our community values.

Examples include:

  • Excessive cancellations to influence rankings
  • Submitting incomplete or empty deliveries
  • Repeatedly contacting support without waiting for responses
  • Accessing the platform through unauthorized methods
  • Sending artificial traffic or scraping platform data

All such actions may result in account termination.

Off-Platform Transactions

To maintain a secure and transparent environment, all payments and business communications must occur within Gigred.

Working off-platform exposes users to:

  • Fraud and scams
  • Privacy breaches
  • Lack of support in case of disputes

It is strictly prohibited to:

  • Offer or accept payments outside Gigred
  • Share personal contact details for off-platform dealings
  • Suggest alternative payment channels or contracts
  • Redirect clients to other platforms

Violating this policy will result in permanent account suspension. Users are encouraged to report any off-platform solicitation to Gigred’s Trust & Safety team.

Off-Platform Policy

At Gigred, we are committed to maintaining a secure, transparent, and trustworthy freelancing environment. To ensure the safety of both clients and freelancers, all transactions must be conducted within the Gigred platform. This policy enables us to provide essential safeguards such as secure payments, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and adherence to community standards that protect everyone involved.

Staying within Gigred not only enhances your safety but also boosts your credibility and visibility as a freelancer. By leveraging Gigred’s built-in tools—such as chat, file sharing, and video calls—you can communicate seamlessly with clients, deliver high-quality projects, and build long-term professional relationships. Conducting business on-platform ensures protection, accountability, and a smoother workflow.

Engaging outside of Gigred significantly increases risks, including fraud and scams, breaches of privacy, and a lack of protection in case of disputes or cancellations. Transactions and communications that occur off-platform are not covered by Gigred’s security or support policies, leaving users vulnerable to potential losses.

It is strictly prohibited to offer or accept payments outside of Gigred, propose bypassing Gigred’s payment system, direct users to other platforms, or share personal contact details such as emails, phone numbers, or external messaging apps for the purpose of off-platform business. Such actions violate Gigred’s Terms of Service and may result in permanent account suspension.

We strongly encourage all users to report any attempts to take transactions outside of the platform. These reports are reviewed carefully by Gigred’s Trust & Safety team to maintain a reliable and fair marketplace. For detailed guidance on acceptable business conduct and best communication practices, please refer to our Articles & Guides.

Illegal and Prohibited Services

Prohibited and Illegal Services

Gigred is an open marketplace that welcomes a wide range of professional services. However, to maintain safety, integrity, and compliance, certain types of services are strictly prohibited. Some are banned due to potential privacy or financial risks, while others simply do not align with Gigred’s values and community guidelines. The examples below are not exhaustive, and Gigred reserves the right to update this list or take action against any activity that violates the spirit or intent of these policies.

Illegal Services

All users must follow applicable local and international laws. Offering, requesting, or promoting any service connected to illegal activity is strictly forbidden. This includes services that support or encourage unlawful behavior. Gigred may permanently suspend accounts that violate this policy and report such activities to law enforcement authorities. Users are encouraged to report any listings or services that appear to breach these standards.

Services That May Cause Harm

Gigred prohibits any service or activity that could intentionally or unintentionally cause harm to people, property, animals, or society. Users must not offer or request services related to dangerous goods, human exploitation, or violence. This includes promoting weapons, drugs, or controlled substances; engaging in human trafficking or abuse; producing fake or altered official documents; spreading violence, hate, or misinformation; offering unlicensed professional services such as legal or financial advice; or attempting to hack, impersonate, or compromise information security. Violations of this policy result in permanent suspension.

Financial Risk Services

To safeguard users’ financial security, Gigred does not allow services that expose sensitive financial data or create monetary risk. Prohibited activities include opening or managing financial accounts, handling loans or investments, trading or mining cryptocurrency, repairing credit histories, or selling trading signals. Any service requiring access to another user’s financial information is strictly banned.

Violation of Third-Party Terms of Service

Gigred values ethical collaboration and compliance across digital platforms. Users must not offer or request services that breach or may potentially breach another company’s terms of service. Before creating or ordering a gig, freelancers and clients should review the respective platform’s rules. Gigred reserves the right to suspend accounts that infringe third-party agreements.

Intellectual Property Infringement

Gigred respects and protects intellectual property rights. Services that violate copyrights, trademarks, patents, or other IP laws are not permitted. Any attempt to sell, reproduce, or distribute copyrighted content without authorization will result in strict action against the violator.

Misleading or Deceptive Services

Any form of deceptive, fraudulent, or manipulative service is prohibited on Gigred. This includes creating or distributing deepfakes, misleading media, or impersonations using AI tools. Deepfakes, fake reviews, and artificial engagement—such as bots, click farms, or fake followers—are not allowed, as they undermine trust and violate third-party rules. Users must also avoid making unrealistic claims, such as guaranteed earnings, investment returns, or personal results beyond their control.

Academic and Workplace Dishonesty

Gigred upholds academic and professional integrity. Users cannot offer or request services that involve completing academic assignments, exams, or workplace screening tasks on behalf of others. Freelancers and clients are expected to follow their institution’s or organization’s ethical guidelines. Any violation of academic honesty may result in permanent suspension.

Sharing Personal Information of Third Parties

To protect privacy, Gigred prohibits services involving the collection, sharing, or sale of personal data. Users may not offer or request services that involve scraping, selling email lists, or distributing sensitive personal information such as phone numbers, addresses, or ID numbers. Only business-related data should be used in relevant services.

Medical-Related Services

Gigred disallows any services that provide medical treatment, advice, or pharmaceutical products. This includes both physical and mental health-related offerings. Users may not offer medical consultation, distribute or promote drugs, create fake medical documents, or spread misinformation related to diseases such as COVID-19. Claims about curing, treating, or preventing medical conditions are also banned.

Services Outside the Gigred Catalog

Gigred’s catalog evolves with changing market trends. Occasionally, outdated or irrelevant services may be removed. If a user’s gig is discontinued, they will be notified and encouraged to update their offerings in line with current demand. For guidance on creating high-performing gigs, users can visit Gigred’s Articles & Guides or Community Forum for advice and insights.

Objectionable Content and User Safety

Adult Content and Sexual Activity

Gigred strictly prohibits adult and sexually explicit content of any kind. Any such material—whether detected by our systems or reported by users—will be removed, and those involved may face permanent suspension. This policy applies to all user-generated content (UGC), including gigs, deliveries, portfolios, gig videos, and other uploads. It covers any depiction of nudity, sexual activity, or content that is graphic, violent, or degrading in nature. This also includes AI-generated images, animations, or videos of a sexual or suggestive kind.

Users must not offer, request, or engage in the exchange of nude or adult content, sexual services, sex chats, or non-consensual material. Activities such as sextortion, sexual violence, fetish requests, child or child-like sexual depictions, or any form of sexually humiliating content are strictly banned. The creation, distribution, or request for explicit content—whether real or AI-generated—is not permitted under any circumstances.

Content featuring or exploiting minors in any sexual manner, including AI-generated depictions, is absolutely forbidden and considered Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). Any user found creating, sharing, or requesting such content will be reported to the relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and permanently banned from Gigred. The platform may also remove content that involves minors at its discretion to ensure community safety.

Documentary Exception

Gigred allows limited nudity only in cases where the primary purpose is educational, scientific, or artistic, and not intended for sexual gratification. For instance, a medical professional commissioning a video to demonstrate childbirth or breastfeeding for educational purposes would qualify, whereas using such footage out of context for sexual appeal would not. Similarly, nudity in contexts such as indigenous rituals, protests, or artistic performances may not qualify for this exception if used outside its intended meaning.

Hate Speech and Discrimination

Hate Speech

Gigred defines hate speech as any content that promotes, incites, or glorifies hatred or violence toward individuals or groups based on real or perceived traits, such as race, skin color, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, age, or disability. This includes the use of slurs, dehumanizing remarks, or any attempt to spread or justify hateful ideologies.

Gigred takes hate speech very seriously and acts promptly upon reports or violations. Any form of hate content, including text, images, videos, or symbols such as swastikas or extremist hand signs, is strictly banned. Users may not create, request, or share hate-related content, nor express support for hate groups or their ideologies.

However, Gigred permits content aimed at researching or raising awareness about hate speech, as well as projects focused on prevention, education, or social understanding, provided they do not glorify or justify harmful ideologies.

Discrimination

Gigred prohibits any form of discrimination or unfair treatment based on personal characteristics, whether real or perceived. Denying collaboration, communication, or service to individuals or groups based on their identity—such as race, gender, religion, or age—is not tolerated.

Users must not produce or share content that promotes discriminatory beliefs, groups, or actions. If you encounter discriminatory behavior or content, report it immediately. Gigred investigates every case carefully and may permanently suspend accounts involved in such violations.

Harassment and Abusive Conduct

Gigred maintains a zero-tolerance stance toward harassment or abusive behavior on the platform. This includes bullying, sexual advances, offensive remarks, or discriminatory conduct of any kind. Respectful and professional communication is mandatory at all times.

When using Gigred, users must not solicit sexual interactions, make suggestive comments, use profane or degrading language, or send disturbing materials. Additionally, freelancers are strictly prohibited from sharing clients’ private or personal data with third parties unless explicitly permitted. Violating confidentiality or privacy rules may lead to immediate and permanent suspension.

If you experience or witness harassment, please report it to Gigred’s support team for review and appropriate action.

Self-Harm and Suicide

Gigred prioritizes the emotional well-being and safety of its users. Content that promotes, glorifies, or depicts suicide, self-harm, or related behaviors—including eating disorders—is strictly forbidden.

If you believe someone is expressing suicidal thoughts or self-harm tendencies, contact local authorities immediately and report it to Gigred.

For anyone experiencing emotional distress or struggling with thoughts of self-harm, Gigred encourages reaching out to professional helplines or mental health organizations for immediate support.

Violence and Unlawful Behavior

At Gigred, the safety of our community is a top priority, and we treat all threats of violence with utmost seriousness. We take proactive steps to prevent any potential harm to our users or others outside the platform. When evaluating threats, we carefully consider both language and context to determine credibility and take appropriate action. In cases where there is an imminent risk to life or personal safety, Gigred may report the matter to law enforcement authorities.

Incitement—encouraging or instructing others to engage in unlawful behavior—is strictly prohibited. Promoting, glorifying, or celebrating acts of violence is equally unacceptable. Users must never threaten physical harm against individuals, groups, Gigred employees, or the company itself. Statements or imagery that advocate violence, promote genocide or terrorism, or endorse violent ideologies are not allowed. Sharing hate symbols or creating content that supports, praises, or encourages violent acts or criminal behavior is also forbidden.

Gigred maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward dangerous organizations and individuals. Content or activities that support, represent, or glorify groups involved in terrorism, extremism, organized crime, or hate movements are strictly banned. Such organizations often exploit digital spaces to spread propaganda, recruit members, or incite violence, and Gigred will permanently suspend accounts that violate this policy. Users must not promote or produce propaganda, conspiracy theories, or content that advances the objectives of these dangerous entities. However, legitimate research and educational services aimed at studying or preventing terrorism, extremism, or criminal activity are permitted.

Misinformation and disinformation—false or misleading information intended to deceive or mislead—pose significant risks to individuals and society. Gigred actively removes any attempt to create, promote, or distribute misinformation or fake news, including politically motivated content. Accounts engaged in such behavior will be permanently banned. This includes misinformation created using generative AI tools, such as deepfakes, automated bots, or scripts used to spread deceptive content at scale. However, research or educational projects designed to study misinformation or counter its spread are permitted on the platform.
Gigred is deeply committed to upholding election integrity and civic trust. Any activity intended to interfere with elections, disrupt democratic processes, or mislead the public is strictly prohibited. This includes offering services that spread false information about voting procedures, incite violence, or impersonate political figures, government entities, or organizations. Using generative AI tools to manipulate political narratives or undermine elections in any form is also forbidden.

That said, Gigred allows creative expression in the form of satire, caricature, parody, or memes, provided it does not mislead or incite harm. Our mission is to foster an open, respectful, and trustworthy marketplace where ideas can flourish—without compromising truth, integrity, or public safety.

Intellectual Property

Gigred takes the protection of Intellectual Property (IP) rights very seriously and fully respects the rights of creators and businesses. To uphold these principles, Gigred has established strong mechanisms that allow rights holders to report and resolve IP-related issues effectively. Since all content on Gigred is User Generated Content (UGC), we’ve implemented a dedicated process for reporting potential copyright and trademark violations. Once a complete report is received from a rights holder or authorized representative, Gigred will review and, if necessary, remove or restrict access to any content found to infringe on IP rights. Additional documentation, such as proof of ownership, may be requested for verification.

Gigred strictly prohibits services that infringe on the intellectual property of individuals or organizations. This includes offering or requesting services related to digital piracy, hacked or cracked software, or the removal of watermarks and copyright marks without consent. Any account found violating these terms may be permanently suspended to protect the integrity of our creative community.

Originality and authenticity are central to Gigred’s values. Designers, artists, and creators are expected to deliver only original work that reflects their unique skills and creativity. In the Graphics & Design and Photography categories, users must not portray, sell, or deliver others’ work as their own. When using existing creative elements, freelancers must integrate them in a transformative way to create new, original concepts that have not been previously published. Any designs or photographs displayed in gig images or portfolios must be the freelancer’s original work and may only include client projects with the client’s consent.

While some elements like geometric shapes, functional designs, short phrases, facts, or genre-specific motifs may resemble others’ work, they are not eligible for copyright protection. However, freelancers must ensure that their work still represents a unique and creative interpretation.
When using stock images or templates, freelancers must have valid licenses from authorized sources. Stock visuals cannot be delivered “as is” and must be used in a transformative, creative way. Templates may serve as a base for design work, but the final result must be significantly modified to establish a new and distinctive look. If a service relies heavily on templates, this must be clearly stated in the gig description. Freelancers who depend primarily on templates may not qualify for Gigred’s premium seller programs.

Gigred also promotes responsible digital creation. When using third-party tools, platforms, or products (such as social media APIs or AI content services), users must respect the terms of those platforms, maintain transparency about their use, and verify proper licensing. Both freelancers and clients are encouraged to communicate openly about the inclusion of third-party content to ensure compliance and mutual understanding.

Respecting intellectual property, maintaining transparency, and fostering mutual respect are essential to keeping Gigred a fair and thriving creative ecosystem. Users must avoid misrepresentation, ensure proper permissions for all content used, and document licenses where necessary.

Finally, Gigred distinguishes between collaboration and profit arbitrage. Freelancers may incorporate others’ work into their own delivery only if they have the rights to use it and if it adds genuine creative value. However, reselling another freelancer’s work “as is” without transformation, solely for profit, is not allowed. Examples of acceptable use include licensed background designs for videos, royalty-cleared music for presentations, or images used within a new creative project.

By following these principles, Gigred’s community helps build a transparent, lawful, and respectful digital marketplace where creativity and originality are protected and celebrated.

AI-Generated Content

Gigred welcomes innovation and supports the responsible use of new technologies, including generative artificial intelligence (AI) tools and programs, to create and deliver content. As AI becomes increasingly integrated into creative and professional work, freelancers using these tools must continue to uphold Gigred’s core values of equality, respect, privacy, and integrity.

All users are required to comply with Gigred’s policies and the following key guidelines. Freelancers must ensure they hold the necessary rights to the content they create, including copyrights, trademarks, and licenses where applicable. Any content generated or delivered through AI that violates intellectual property laws, community standards, or applicable regulations will be removed, and the freelancer’s account may face permanent suspension. Freelancers must also comply with the terms of service of any AI tool or application used, along with relevant data protection, privacy, and consumer rights laws. Each project must be tailored to the specific client—bulk delivery of identical AI-generated work is not permitted.

Clients who prefer content created without the use of AI tools should clearly communicate this expectation before placing an order. Both freelancers and clients are strictly prohibited from using AI to produce misinformation, non-consensual content, deepfakes, fake accounts, or AI-generated impersonations for unlawful, sexual, or deceptive purposes. Additionally, AI tools must not be used for automated decision-making in sensitive areas such as law enforcement, finance, housing, or employment, where individuals’ rights or well-being could be affected.

If you identify any misuse or unethical behavior related to AI-generated content on Gigred, please report it immediately. Our AI policies and guidelines will continue to evolve alongside technological advancements, so we encourage users to revisit this section regularly for updates.

Minors Policy

Gigred’s Terms of Service require all users to be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to enter into binding contracts. Users between 13 and 17 years of age may access Gigred only through an account owned by their parent or legal guardian, with explicit permission. Individuals under the age of 13 are strictly prohibited from using the platform.

Some gigs or projects on Gigred may involve minors in the service process. When a minor is the primary service provider (for example, a child voiceover), the account must be owned and managed by the parent or legal guardian, and this must be clearly stated in the gig or project details and profile description. In cases where minors participate in creating a service (such as photography for children’s products), it should be evident from the nature of the gig or project that minors’ involvement is required. Parents, legal guardians, and freelancers working with minors must comply with all applicable local child labor laws and regulations.

Users under 18 are not permitted to offer services such as dance lessons, modeling, greeting cards, videos, or “your message on” gigs or projects. Gigred strictly prohibits any sexually explicit content involving minors or material that attempts to exploit them in any form. This includes, but is not limited to, NSFW or lewd illustrations and voiceovers, erotic stories, lolicon or shotacon voiceovers or illustrations, deepfakes, and any AI-generated child-like explicit content. Depicting or describing minors in a sexually suggestive, violent, or exploitative manner is also forbidden.

Gigred reserves full discretion to remove any content that features or depicts minors if it violates our policies or community standards. Accounts found in breach of these terms may face permanent suspension. Any Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) discovered on the platform is immediately reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), which coordinates with global law enforcement agencies to take appropriate action.
